Our latest blog from a wedding just East of Radlett, set in the picturesque Hertfordshire countryside lies The London Shenley Club, the beautiful location for the marriage of Colleen and Nick.
Designed by the legendary cricketer W G Grace, the field was built to the dimensions of the famous Oval Cricket club. It boasts a gorgeous scoreboard, a handsome 19th Century Pavillion and provides the perfect setting for a Dream Spring Wedding.
I was delighted to be invited to film this special occasion and being a close personal friend of the couple it was even more of a pleasure to watch my good friends as they said “I do” inside the wonderfully decorated Long Room.
After tucking into a cracking hog roast complete with apple sauce, everyone enjoyed listening to Jonathan the Best Man remind some and inform others that Nick (the Groom) once sported an interesting choice of hair-do… an off centre blonde mohawk!
Thankfully those days are long behind him…
The night continued with the cutting of the extremely delectable elephant themed cake followed by the first dance to who else but their favourite artist and Nick’s look-a-like, Ed Sheeran.
Dancing continued under the disco lights provided by the excellent DJ and once the night had been danced away everybody left with a smile on their face and a scrummy piece of cake in the hands..
“I just wanted to say thank you so so much for the video it’s absolutely amazing we love it!! You did such a fab job!
Colleen, the bride
Thanks again to Colleen & Nick for inviting me to film their special day, I hope you have as much fun watching this video as I had making it.
